He is a recognized expert in insurance pricing as evidenced by being the co-author of the textbook the actuarial society uses to train all actuaries. For the past 15 years he has specialized in telematics and IoT helping more than 50 companies launch programs around the world.

  • Adam Hudson, VP & GM - Connected and International Markets, LexisNexis

    Adam Hudson is the Vice President & GM, Connected and International Markets at LexisNexis Risk Solutions. He’s a proven, dynamic leader with more than 17 years of experience concentrated in cutting-edge technology, data, and analytics. Leverages an extensive skillset in strategy development, M&A, and performance improvements / operational turnarounds across an array of industries to deliver operational efficiencies and profitability. He holds additional experience in investment banking, valuation, interim management, and strategic sourcing.

  • David Lukens, SVP, North America, IMS

    David leads IMS’ market activities in North America, helping insurers understand how they can achieve profitable outcomes leveraging driving data. Having led claims, pricing and telematics programs for several leading insurance companies, David fully understands the needs of insurers and is passionate about bringing connected insurance programs to market that meet their objectives as well as the personalized needs of their end user policyholders.

    Joe Griffin is the lead Actuary for Rivian Insurance Services. In this role, he leverages his actuarial background and telematics expertise to drive insurance strategies and lead actuarial-related conversations. Prior to joining Rivian, Joe was a key member of the DriveAbility team at Octo Telematics leading the actuarial filing team and guiding the analytics team in telematics scoring development. Additionally, he is a proud father of three and coaches both of his boys’ baseball and soccer teams.

  • Devin McLaughlin, SVP, Strategy & Marketing, LeadCloud

    Devin has spent most of the last decade developing successful marketing partnerships for carriers like Travelers, The General and Mile Auto. Before entering the insurance industry, Devin worked in advertising, helping clients like Coca-Cola, NBC Universal, NBC Sports and AARP reach new customers more effectively. The combination of his experience as an insurance product manager, strategic partnerships leader and his time in advertising earned him nominations for the Top Associate award at American Family in 2018 and for Most Innovative Marketing Initiative at Travelers in 2020. Today he leads the Marketing and Strategy team at LeadCloud, the premier integration partner of the P&C insurance industry.

    Deke Phillips is Vice President of Sales, Americas at IMS, where he's focused on helping auto insurers and mobility companies improve operating results and increase retention through telematics and usage-based insurance. Deke has over 11 years of experience in building and growing telematics businesses, as well as 12 years of experience in P&C insurance underwriting, product management, and distribution. Prior to joining IMS, Deke was CEO and co-founder of Rightmile, a commercial auto MGA that utilizes connected vehicle data to help fleets lower insurance costs and increase driver retention. Previously, Deke held the position of Senior Vice President, Americas at Octo Telematics, where he managed Octo's businesses in the Americas region. Prior to Octo, Deke was VP of Customer Success at TrueMotion (now Cambridge Mobile Telematics) and has also held leadership positions at Arity, LexisNexis, and Chubb Insurance.

  • Tom Torcia, Chief Analytics Officer, Mutual Capital Analytics

    Tom is a data-driven Product Management expert who joined MCA in 2020 to transform the mutual insurance industry. With a focus on leveraging data and analytics, he helps clients enhance product segmentation, drive growth, and implement innovative solutions to ensure long term profitability. Prior to joining MCA, Tom spent 13 years at The Travelers. Most recently, Tom led the Emerging Auto team, focused on becoming an industry leader in the independent agency channel for the creation, adoption, and utilization of telematics. Building leading-edge offerings that combined digital assets, third-party data, advanced modeling techniques and enhanced pricing segmentation, his work led to the growth and expansion of Travelers’ telematics program, with adoption growing over 300%. Current position: Chief Analytics Officer at Mutual Capital Analytics.

  • Ed Rochfort, Chief Product Officer, IMS

    Ed runs the centralized Product organization at IMS, ensuring that IMS builds the right products and services to enable our customers to fully unlock the inherent value in the data we provide. Previously at Towergate Insurance, Ed originally joined IMS holding company Trak Global Group in 2011 to form Carrot Insurance, a UK-based direct-to-consumer digital insurance proposition, which he went on to lead for many years before moving to IMS.
